The informations on the high-contrast, bright OLED display are easy to read and animated menu pictures are also aiming for the most convenient user experience. The perfect sound quality is ensured by the Hi-Fi Sigmatel chipset and the included quality earphone. A wide range of music formats are supported, besides the standard MP3, WMA and WAV files, Vox also supports lossless solutions as FLAC or APE. Music files can be find either by folder list or sorted by Artist, Album or Genre. Lyrics are also supported.
Besides music playback, Vox also has a sensitive FM radio and voice recording function from the built-in microphone is available too. Thanks to the built-in USB 2.0 connector, the device can be used as a speedy flash drive as well. The device can provide up to 30 hours of playback with a single charge. The optional built-in FM transmitter is truly a unique and useful function for those who’d like to listen to their favourite songs in the car or at home.
